Jason Rupp enthusiastically presents his popular travel and food vlog on YouTube. He looks for the unusual in his travels around the U.S. and the world, and his fans enjoy his quirky sense of humor and adventure. He is a fine arts graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, with an emphasis on global studies and photography. He spends part of the year in Southeast Asia and is a regular travel presenter and announcer reporting on travel tips for the Pattaya Channel, a regional television station in Thailand. Jason's stories and pictures have appeared in Never Stop Traveling, Offbeat Travel, and the Ingredients issue of Asterisk Magazine

My writing career has been varied, with topics ranging from European politics and culture to health and relationships. I have written about politics from Greece, philosophy from France, health from California, where I grew up. Now based in Toronto, I have written for most of the major Canadian publications, including The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Saturday Night, Chatelaine, CAA, Macleans. I also contributed to CBC radio programs. In the US my work has appeared in Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News, Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, and eastwestnewsservice.com. In the UK, my articles have appeared in Conde Nast Traveler and Philosophy Now. I am interested in many topics, from cuisine to art, wildlife to history. I always search for what is authentic.

She taught skiing and pro-patrolled at many of the premier mountains in the western US for 20 years. In addition, she guided white water rafting for 7 years, and spent many years working as a rope course facilitator. He drives the tech train around here and applies his industry knowledge to build, not just another blog, but a detailed content management system. He knows the importance of travel and adventure to recharge the soul from the rigors of corporate America and family life. He was the consummate weekend warrior, going on many crazy adventures like caving expeditions in Belize, hiking the Grand Canyon Rim-Rim-Rim day hike (albeit a long day), climbing Baboquivari peak for his 30th birthday, and racing in the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo mountain bike race. Ed was not your ordinary rocket scientist or suburban dad.

2020 August Featured Journalist of the Month: Greg Goodmacher

Greg has two addictions: telling stories and bathing in Japanese hot springs. His work has appeared in in-flight magazines, online magazines, Japanese tour guides, and university textbooks.
