Tar Heel Football 2019

Just a handful of tickets remain for the UNC home opener vs. Miami on September 7 at 8 pm. For remaining game tickets and game day activities click read more. Coach Mack Brown is asking fans to be in their seats 30 minutes before kickoff. Remember, the Clear Bag policy is still in effect.


Bluegrass at Moorefields

The 6th annual Bluegrass Festival at Historic Moorefields is September 7 from 2 pm - 7 pm featuring five bands, food trucks, beer, wine and more. Tickets adults $15, teens 13-17 $10, age 12 and under free. Free parking. Bring lawn chair or blanket. No pets.




Sculpture in the Garden

The 31st annual Sculpture in the Garden, a juried outdoor sculpture exhibition that unites the work of North Carolina artists with the curated landscapes of the North Carolina Botanical Garden, runs September 15-December 8. The preview party is on September 14.


Hog Day

 Head to downtown Hillsborough for the annual Hog Day in the River Park off of E. Margaret Lane on September 20 6 pm - 10 pm and September 21 10 am - 6 pm. Enjoy food, live music, crafts, car show, kids activities, and BBQ cooking contest. Bring a chair or blanket.


Harvest Dinner

The 8th Annual Harvest Dinner benefiting the Carrboro Farmers' Market is September 26, 6 pm - 9 pm. It is a night that brings together chefs, market farmers, and the community for an incredibly delicious locally sourced meal in Town Commons. Tickets are $20-$70.


Carrboro Music Festival

The free Festival kicks off September 28 with bands at the Carrboro Town Commons beginning at 2 pm. A free, ticketed, show will be held at the Cat's Cradle at 8:30 pm. The main event on September 29 showcases dozens of Triangle-area performers and their varied musical styles all across town beginning at 1 pm along with food and craft vendors.
