Lake of the Ozarks, MO - Parties, dinners, dancing and lodging specials at several celebrated resorts make for a memorable New Year's Eve at Central Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks, Monday, Dec. 31.

The "Best Recreational Lake" in the Nation will be ringing in the New Year with festivities at numerous restaurants and nightspots as well as several different resorts around the Lake area. So, no matter where visitors decide to spend their evening, they'll be in for a good time at the Lake of the Ozarks.

As is tradition at the Lake of the Ozarks, six of the area's largest resorts are putting on quite the party for their guests to say goodbye to 2018 and usher in 2019.

At Camden on the Lake Resort, 2359 Bittersweet Road in Lake Ozark, guests can choose from two different party and package options during the Bottle Pop and Ball Drop extravaganza. There will be a private party featuring live music performed by the Dave Baker Trio inside the Harbor Ballroom at Camden on the Lake (admission starts at $25 per person and tickets are required). And, DJ Lou Diesel will be keeping the party pumping at the Horny Toad Entertainment Complex the entire evening. There is no cover charge for the dance party at the Horny Toad. Regardless of which entertainment a reveler chooses, the party at Camden on the Lake continues until 3 a.m. In addition, H. Toad's Bar and Grill be offering a special New Year's Eve menu featuring a charcuterie board, a selection of fresh salads, choice of splendid entrees -- including Chilean sea bass, truffled twin filet of beef and more -- and delectable desserts. At The Lodge of Four Seasons, 315 Four Seasons Road in Lake Ozark, the festivities are taking place at HK's Restaurant and Bar. The Lodge of Four Seasons is treating their guests to wine pairings and a splendid dinner where guests can enjoy shrimp cocktail or tuna carpaccio for starters, prime rib, filet mignon and lobster or roasted salmon as an entree and a selection of desserts. There will be live music by the Norm Ruebling Band throughout the evening. Dinner seating runs from 5 p.m. until midnight and guests can choose from HK's acclaimed menu or from fixed-price meals as well. At The Lodge at Port Arrowhead, 3080 Bagnell Dam Boulevard in Lake Ozark, visitors can join in the celebration with the resort's special New Year's Eve Package. The package includes a luxurious king or double-queen room, dinner for two -- including salad, choice of fish or prime rib and dessert -- and a champagne toast at midnight. There also will be dancing and live music performed by Soulroot throughout the evening. The New Year's Eve Package at The Lodge at Port Arrowhead costs $149.99 for two people. Old Kinderhook Resort678 Old Kinderhook Drive in Camdenton, offers New Year revelers the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular dinner from The Trophy Room featuring carved beef tenderloin, herb-roasted leg of lamb, seared salmon, hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Old Kinderhook's New Year's Eve party takes place in the Grand Ballroom and features live music by James Clay and the Hired Guns, dinner, a champagne toast and sweets at midnight. The party runs from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. with dinner beginning at 8 p.m. Visitors can enjoy the party and dinner for $99 per person, or they can stay the night with the New Year's Eve Package, which includes two tickets to the dinner and party, luxurious accommodations, two passes for The Ice (Old Kinderhook's outdoor ice rink), s'mores and hot cocoa for $359 per night. Rock City, dancing, dinner, a champagne toast at midnight and breakfast served at 1 a.m.  Tickets for the gala cost $60 per person (plus tax and gratuity) if purchased before December 15. Partygoers receive a special discounted New Year's Eve lodging rate of $99. In addition to party hats and noise makers, those looking to ring in the New Year with their family can enjoy the Timber Falls Family Fun New Year's Eve Package, which promises enough thrills and excitement to please everyone. The Family Fun Package includes deluxe accommodations on December 31, a pizza party package from Frank and Lola's Pizzeria (includes one large, one-topping pizza, breadsticks and beverages) for four people and unlimited access for four people to Timber Falls Waterpark, the Lake of the Ozarks' only indoor waterpark, on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The Family Fun Package starts at $219 per family of four. For those looking for a more traditional soiree, Tan-Tar-A's New Year's Eve Ballroom Package may just fit the bill. With the disco-themed Ballroom Package, adults can dance the night away with live music featuring the groovy nine-piece Spectrum Band as well as the funky sounds of the six-piece Retro Boogie Band. Also included in the package is a one-night stay in deluxe accommodations, a dinner buffet featuring prime rib and a selection of seafood and sweet treats, tickets for two to the Ballroom celebration, a champagne toast at midnight and prizes for the best '70s costumes.
