Thank God for Indie Mondays at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center
Dec. 3
– Join host Eric Raddatz, co-host Melissa Tschari DeHaven for fresh short indie films, music, comedy and fun. Get a look at how the Fort Myers Film Festival views submissions for independent films and participate in the selection process. Have a say whether or not they should make final programming.

– This world-premiere adaptation of the beloved Charles Dickens classic is a thrilling and fast-paced retelling of the night that changed Ebenezer Scrooge’s life.

– Hassan is an airport shuttle driver in Minneapolis, struggling to make ends meet as his customers switch to Uber and Lyft. When a stranded teenager at the airport pays Hassan to take him to Chicago, it seems like it’s worth the risk. Until it isn't.

– Buddy, a young orphan, crawls into Santa’s bag and travels to the North Pole where he is raised, unaware that he is human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to discover his true identity.

Sanibel Luminary Holiday Stroll, Sanibel and Captiva islands 
Dec. 7-8
The islands of Sanibel and Captiva present the 34th annual Luminary Holiday Stroll. As you stroll the trail, look for the many fun places to stop and enjoy including, Santa visits with photos, a live Nativity scene, music and activities for the entire family.

Cape Coral Outdoor Expo and Boat Show, Sun Splash Water Park, Cape Coral

The show will feature the latest boating, kayaks, paddle boarding, ATV's, personal watercraft, scuba, cycling, water skiing and wake boarding plus tennis, golf, and more.

‘The Art of Peter Greenaway & Jack Kerouac’ exhibit at FSW 
Through Dec. 8
– A new Rauschenberg Gallery exhibit includes 72 paintings and drawings by Jack Kerouac from the 1940s through the 1960s. The show also features four “On the Road”-inspired art pieces by British filmmaker Peter Greenaway.
