The Winchester-Frederick County CVB is the official tourism and film office for the Winchester, Virginia area. Perfectly situated in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and just over an hour west of Washington D.C., our area enjoys significant American history (e.g. Civil War, George Washington, Patsy Cline), a beautiful and vibrant Old Town walking mall, farm markets and orchards, and close access to the Appalachian Trail. In addition, we boast over 30 hotels and 3,000 rooms for great sports and event capacity. We're also home to the world-famous Apple Blossom Festival, which is over 90 years old.
