I graduated CSUN with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, winning several awards along the way. I beat out the editorial team at KCOP when I was working on their assignment desk to win the Golden Mike from APTRA. I moved to Fairbanks, Alaska to work at KTVF as a reporter, videographer, editor and director (not always at the same time). I came back to Los Angeles to work in radio, on a Lifetime women's health show and at OCN. After marriage and motherhood, I started working in print by writing for our local newspaper, the Acorn, then LA Parent Magazine. I am currently writing 3 articles per month for Wherever Family and have become a regular contributor to Global Traveler Magazine. These were gifts from meeting the wonderful people who attended the 2017 NATJA conference!
