About Me:
My wife, Lisa, and I have been partners with our travel writing since starting "The Walking Tourists" Sept. 28, 2011.

This led to our new book "100 Things to Do in Omaha Before You Die," which is a bucket list of things to do, see and try in Omaha. I handled the writing and Lisa managed the social media and public relations for the book. I truly appreciate her.

We are currently working on a second book, "Unique Eats and Eateries of Omaha," which will be out Spring 2019.

For the blog I handle the photography, writing and editing. Lisa maintains the social media accounts - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. We love traveling. We both worked in the hospitality industry for several years, with Carlson Hotels (both), Starwood Hotels (Tim) and American Express Travel (Lisa). We are members of regional and local blogger groups, including Midwest Bloggers and Omaha Bloggers.

I spent 8.5 years in the Air Force in my younger days. I also spent half a dozen years or so working in daily and weekly journalism in Nebraska, as well as some freelance work regionally.
