Though I was born in Detroit, MI I was raised in Los Angeles. I attended public schools- 10th street Elementary, Berendo & Louis Pasteur Junior Highs and Fairfax High School. I attended UCLA and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching for more than 30 years, i retired from full-time teaching in 1997 but still substitute. I have been married twice. My second husband passed away from Prostate Cancer many years ago. From my first marriage I have two wonderful daughters and enjoy the pleasure of seven grandchildren. I have been making the San Fernando Valley my home since the mid-50s, except for four years in Santa Clara. And, for fun, I am a movie background actor (an extra) and am a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Radio & Television Artists.
