She is also the winner of two Telly Awards, a Davey Award, the recipient of the Mississippi Travel Writer of the Year, the Missouri Media Award, Missouri Wine and Grape Program and the Quest Award from the National Federation of Press Womens Missouri affiliate. In addition, she is a NATJA winner of Gold, Silver and Bronze arts for travel writing, a Mark Twain Award winner with Midwest Travel Journalists, and has garnered 16 first place awards at the national level from the National Federation of Press Women.
